In Rome, during an unusual heatwave in January, the lives of various troubled characters become intertwined: Gianna, obsessed with faith and revenge; Pupa, a fading former porn star; Caterina, an alcoholic mother seeking redemption; Father Bill, a priest and former drug addict grappling with grief; Mila, a young woman battling an eating disorder. The oppressive heat becomes a metaphor for their inner turmoil, pushing them to confront trauma, addiction, and complex family ties. In a grotesque and melancholic atmosphere, each is called to change, shedding their masks. A choral dark comedy about identity, pain, and the possibility of rebirth.
