This anthology contains solarpunk short stories set in the same fictional universe as The Walkers. Each story explores ecological solutions and innovations that work with nature rather than against it. Stories include an android weaving sea silk in Sardinia, experiments in phosphor-vegetal lighting and terraforming projects to accommodate climate migrants. The narrative offers new ways of responding to environmental crises. Throughout history, when faced with adversity, humans have tried to escape; however, with the growth of cities, it is now necessary to adapt and find solutions that are both indigenous and inspired by nature. Illustrations by students from the Rome School of Comics bring these imaginary worlds to life. This is an invitation to think and act sustainably for a better future.
