The Cthulhu Mythos

Romance
Year

The Cthulhu cycle, also known as the Cthulhu Mythos, is the literary cycle that includes the most important part of the literary work of Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890-1937). The term was coined by August Derleth after Lovecraft's death in an attempt to systematize the references to the characters present in the various works. Some authors consider this systematization to be forced: for example, Dirk W. Mosig has proposed an alternative name, the Cycle of the Myth of Yog-Sothoth.
